Tanker Pacific Offshore awarded Letter of Intent for FPSO in Australia

Tanker Pacific Offshore has been awarded the Letter of Intent by Coogee Resources for the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a FPSO in the Montara Field in Block AC/RL3 offshore North-West Australia. The FPSO is Tanker Pacific Offshore’s second floating production project within a year of company’s entry into the FPSO market. The FPSO will be designed for continuous service on site for minimum 20 years without dry-docking and will be permanently moored in 80m water depth utilizing an internal turret supplied by Norway’s Advanced Production and Loading.

The unit will have a processing capacity of 80,000 barrels per day of fluids, 40,000 barrels per day oil and 60 million cubic feet per day of gas compression for re-injection / lift.

Tanker Pacific Offshore will convert the tanker "Freeway" from its pool of conversion candidates. The conversion will be done at Jurong Shipyard in Singapore. The FPSO will be delivered in 2008.
